It is not much of a surprise I suppose that I have never been a big Madonna fan, or a fan at all come to think of it. She is a huge success who has had a profound impact on modern music, perhaps even pop’s equivalent to Michael Jackson. But me, not what I listen to on my time. Well, the old gal set the bar at the Super Bowl last night. Her show was an over the top smash success that had me sitting there amazed at the scope, the planning and the talent in a football stadium, coming through beautifully on my TV!

Many say the 2002 U2 halftime show was the best ever. From an emotional viewpoint it was magnificent in it’s tribute to the 911 victims and tragedy but from sheer musical and entertainment value, Madonna has shown again that she is a true icon of American Pop Music!
